The ASN remains the sole community based, non-profit organization in San Luis Obispo and Monterey Counties that provides supportive services to residents living with HIV/AIDS and Hep C and their loved ones. The agency strives to improve the quality of life and independence of its clients by providing support on an individual basis.

Central Coast Center for Independent Living (CCCIL)

CCCIL promotes the independence of people with disabilities by supporting their equal and full participation in life. CCCIL provides advocacy, education, and support to people with disabilities, their families, and the community. We’re one of a nationwide network of Centers for Independent Living whose philosophy is that we who have disabilities have the right to control our lives and make our own choices.

Neighborhood Services Center of the First United Methodist Church

First United Methodist Church in Salinas hosts a Neighborhood Services Center for those who are homeless or struggling to stay in their housing.

The mission of the Service Learning Institute is to foster and promote social justice by cultivating reciprocal service and learning partnerships among CSUMB students, faculty, staff and the surrounding tri-county community.

 Victory Mission

Located in Chinatown in Salinas, Victory Mission has been working with homeless men since 1959.  Victory Mission provides safe, overnight lodging, showers, meals, clothing and other direct assistance 365 days a year.  In addition to other housing support programs, Victory Mission offers a residential long-term recovery program for men who want to find a new path for life.
